Geo walking through walls
« on: June 07, 2020, 07:51:25 PM »
Hi all!
I have geo from l2jserver. I converted it to .l2d format and moved to geo folder.
I receive console message, that was be loaded 203 geo files.
When i used //geogrid command - the grid correctly appears. BUT! my Char, if button up pressed near any wall, can walk through it.
Why? Geo doesn't work? Or mb i'm do something wrong?

Hi!, Your problem is in config files. I recommend use this geo-data https://bitbucket.org/l2jgeo/l2j_geodata/src/master/ fixed merchant wall.

In you archive general.properties change this:

Code: [Select]
# Pathfinding options:
# 0 = Disabled
# 1 = Enabled using path node files
# 2 = Enabled using geodata cells at runtime
# Default: 0
PathFinding = 2

# This setting controls Client <--> Server Player coordinates synchronization:
# -1 - Will synchronize only Z from Client --> Server. Default when no geodata.
# 1 - Synchronization Client --> Server only. Using this option (without geodata) makes it more difficult for players to bypass obstacles.
# 2 - Intended for geodata (at least with cell-level pathfinding, otherwise can you try -1).
# Server sends validation packet if client goes too far from server calculated coordinates.
# Default: -1
CoordSynchronize = 2

Restart server and fun!.
