Greetings, dear friends!

First of all I'd like to thank Mobius for the project and for sharing his story. I can empathize on many of his feelings and stories, as I also got betrayed. I always wondered what happened to L2J internally. This explains a lot of stuff, I guess it always was a pit of snakes  :D

I'm currently using the free sources to create a PvP Server. You might remember me from a certain High Five Olympaid server that prided itself in being super mega retail-like. I don't really care about being correct and all the retail stuff anymore so I won't help in that regard, but even so I'll try to contribute in other, hopefully more creative ways!

Thank you for keeping the spirit of open source alive!

Cheers!

Hello gl with the project. I will recomend you to us subversion if you want to go live, is not to be more "retail" is to have less problemas and stability but I think all of us start with free so good luck

This is not an advertisement for the subscriber version.

There are many technical issues that have been resolved, that the free version, or even the upcoming next free version, wont have.
I mean really daunting, work for days to resolve issues, that may, or not, make your life hell.

It will take months until the current subscriber version is fully merged with the free one.

That sums up why people chose the subscriber version. Not because free is bad, but because I work daily on it.
You can see what I do daily at the Project priority system topic.

Also, might look ironic, but I do not indulge creating live private servers.
Apart from that, good luck with whatever you do.
:)

Thank you for the warm welcome, and thank you for the thorough review of the subscriber branch, I'll definitely consider using it in the future!

Also, might look ironic, but I do not indulge creating live private servers.

I think it's a very fun way to express your creativity, but it's also usually a lot of work to make them successful :D

Thank you again!
