Good night, first sorry to be posting this here this way, I tried to send PM to the project owner but unfortunately I couldn't
So, as the title says these two guys are trying to sell the essence version of l2jmobius, they have a disagreement with prints that they are looking for files to work on and move around, when we log in the files we noticed that there were l2jmobius credits in the html, when we saw the folder structure is also the same, as I noticed that @mobius did not leave the essence version for free users I believe they must have premium access, they are selling for 500 dollars just to start the project promising weekly updates and more $ 150 per month to continue support.
Watch out for them. If you want, I can send prints of their chats trying to sell, now, if they are friends and licensees, disregard and delete the topic.
I have a picture of his messages offering the files for sale, if you want I can pass you on, they even have a Discord server where we saw their history and they were looking for files for resale.

272 support is 10 minutes of your time.
Actual 272 gets months and trust me Im working daily with 50+ fixes and Im still in 245.
That's a scam for sure :) good luck

Can't do anything about it.
One of the reasons I stopped at 228.
If people help enough with the free version, instead of copy pasting L2jMobius as other projects, and actualy contribute, 228 would advance.
Spending 500$ on random dudes for L2jMobius plus whatever login support is plain stupid.

It is not that there are no people that I have shared these files with.

Renaming stuff, removing license and author names do not make that; not an L2jMobius fork.
It took me at least three years to add L2jMobius license, after 70% of real code changes and L2jServer being in the dead state it currently is.
With the other project L2jMobius was based, L2jUnity, dead (or private), removing license in the first says of the project.
And aCis, as the only other freemium project, totaly removing license, as if licenses mean nothing.
I even made a post on L2jServer forum about the current state of licensing and was ignored.
I do not hold a grudge on JoeAlisson's project because,
license should reflect who is currently maintaining the project code and moreover
I do not want people come to our forum spaming me for support for his ongoing project.
As the topic post goes, GPLv3 does not prohibit reselling, unless the sources sold are private and not obtained in a legal manner.
That is why we have the https://l2jmobius.org/forum/index.php?topic=3230 TOA.
If that guy sells modified free sources with login support and people actually buy it, good luck with that.
Topic locked to avoid more agnorant posts and keep my sanity.
